The principal of First Contact Relocations is Malcolm Harrison. With a Masters degree in History and a Law degree from the University of Sydney, he has an extensive background in senior management, including CEO and Managing Director roles in publishing, tertiary education and sport. In 1991, he co-founded an electronic information company (Connect 4) which became one of the leading providers of corporate information for companies listed on the ASX. The business was acquired by Fairfax Media Publications in 2008.

He has travelled extensively and has lived and worked in London and various locations in Europe. His wife, originally from Auckland, has also travelled widely and worked in London and Johannesburg.

Malcolm has lived in the northern suburbs of Sydney for over 20 years and has been actively involved in his local schools, sporting organizations and local community. He is married and has two adult sons.
